Qingdao Hongtai Copper Industry Co., Ltd. was initiated in March of 1993. Now it covers an area of over 150 Mu with registered capital of RMB 10 million. It produces various copper pipes with annual throughout of 50000 tons. In the year 1999, this co***ny cooperated with Canada Jiaya Copper Pipes Co., Ltd. to establish Qingdao Hongtai Metalwork Co., Ltd., specialized in copper pipe export. The products are sold to many provinces, autonomous regions in China and are exported to over thirty countries and regions, for instance, Canada, America, ***in, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, etc.
In 2003, the co***ny achieved sales volume 22281 tons and took back 467 million RMB of which there is 1848 tons for export and directly earned foreign exchange 4,680,000 USD. It took the first position in the same trade of Shandong Province and the number was three times of that of the second position, and it was No.4 in China. Related to copper pipe production scale in upword technology, the co***ny is outstanding in the whole country. Discrepancy of upword technology and traditional extrusion process has been a unique skill for present and long-term development of this co***ny. Since the second half of 1998 to 2003, we have brought in, innovated, developed upword for five years, and our sales volume and return of the money increased to 22281 tons and 467 million RMB from 997 tons and 25,840,000 RMB, respectively in 22 times and 18 times than those in five years ago.
Since 1997, the co***ny has been successively recognized as Grade AAA Credit Enterprise, Provincial Contract-stressing and Promise-keeping Enterprise by Qingdao Agricultural Bank of China and Pingdu Big Taxpayer. In 1999, the co***ny acquired ISO9002 Quality System Certificate (changed to IS09001£º2000 in the year 2002); In 2000, it gained ASTM Product Quality Certificate and acquired national Enterprise Quality Inspection Institution Acceptance Certificate
